SMALL PRICES AT BELMONT j j PARK PADDOCK SALE .------.-----.-------.---..j NEW YORK, N. Y:, May 25 A sale of horses in training was auctioned by the Fasig-Tipton Company in the paddock before the running of the first race at Belmont Park today. The band which was offered failed to arouse enthusiasm among the prospective purchasers and as a result the lowest average in some time was realized. The top price of the sale was paid for Epibeau, which came out of the Willis Sharpe Kilmer stabler This one went to the Maemere Farm for ,200. The second top price was also realized for a Kilmer offering, when Mrs. F. M. Gould paid ?2,000 for Sun Antioch. The offerings carded by the Brandon Farm were withdrawn from the vendue.
