1 WOODBINE PARK NOTES 4 Black Stockings, which delayed the start of the seventh race for seven minutes Friday, has been added to the schooling list by starter Thomas Rowe. The apprentice allowance on Meloy in the second and Finesse in the seventh race was waived, the former carrying 113 pounds and the latter 107 pounds. Fusco got away from an exercise boy while galloping and ran away for about two miles Saturday morning. Trainer Fred Fox, who has been convalescing from illness in a local hospital, has been discharged and was a visitor at Woodbine Saturday. Trainer Frank Gilpin will take a division of the E. F. Seagram stable from Woodbine to Detroit Tuesday. The division will comprise ten horses, including Stand Pat, Shady Well and Santan. Mrs. W. G. Kelly, wife of the paddock judge, made her first appearance at the track since a recent illness. Mrs. M. R. Crowells two-year-old Min-thera was excused by the stewards from the first race Saturday upon the report of the track veterinarian that the juvenile had pulled up sore. Robert Shelley, racing secretary at Woodbine, left Saturday night by train for Calgary, where he will serve in the same capacity on the western circuit.
