SUN PORTLAND GOES EAST HOMEWOOD, 111., May 25. Mrs. Silas B. Masons Sun Portland, winner of yesterdays third Illinois Derby at Aurora, goes back to Belmont Park in charge of Walter Taylor, brother of J. T. Taylor, trainer of the son of Sun Briar and a number of other horses owned by the same patron. It is a regret-able fact that the Mason three-year-old is not eligible for the American Derby and Chicago racegoers, must await the classic at Arlington Park for another chance to see the former W. S. Kilmer colt in action.
