1 LAT0NIA TURF NOTES $ A. D. Steele is another addition to the Norsemens colony here. He arrived with five horses, Archery, Ben Machree, Harvest Girl, Wazayata and Chestnut Girl. C. II. Valentine brought ten here from Lexington and one, the nine-year-old Sada, from Louisville. The other ten are Miss Terry, Honest Queen, Bill Bo, King Henry, General Bay, Kop, Fly. Baby, Military Lass, Laura Brennan and Modest Miss. Four will carry the colors here of Asa Harned of Louisville. They are Eil-Weir, Temple Hill, Shan and Lady Macaw. Camp Cook, Rose Stein, Clovis and Furtive arrived at Latonia from Lexington. They are owned by A. Baker. The Latonia stewards Friday morning granted trainers licenses to the following applicants: James Baylor, E. G. Bronson, A. J. Giovanetti, A. J. Hall, J. B. Hardwick, D. T. Lisle, W. L. Hoag, Earl Maloney, F. Quattlemeyer, O. B. Rogers, Leslie Thompson ,and R. C. Utz. Fernando Fernandez, Louis Ruder and J. W. Smith were given jockey licenses, and Ralph Bohn, John Henry Jones, Ray Louis Koch and Albert Morgan were granted papers as apprentice riders. Authorized agents approved were: J. A. Brause, for Mrs. J. A. Brause; Harry OConnor, for Henry Forrest; Paul Davis, for Mrs. Gus Simone; A. Giovanetti, for G. Ratter-man and J. S. Hawkins; M. Jolly, for Mose Goldblatt; Harry Jones, for W. G. Sparks; F. J. Krokine, for Which White House, and Linius Pierce, for Brown Hotel Stable. Additions to the riding colony are J. Mayer, Earl Pool, "J. Marinelli, M. Fallon, J. Kederis and W. Lilly.
