1 BELMONT PARK NOTES $ : H. C. Riddle, who is training the A. B. Gordon horses at Rockingham Park, came down for the running of the Withers. Mrs. Silas B. Masons Sun Portland, which won the Illinois Derby Friday, will be shipped to Detroit for the Detroit Derby, according to trainer Tommy Taylor. The H. P. Headley stable was shipped to Washington Park for the Chicago season. The Montalvo Stud Stable, in charge of Eddie Hodgson, was shipped to Montreal for Canadian racing. Jockey C. Kurtsinger returned from Aurora, where he rode Sun Portland in the Derby. Blinkers were added to the equipment of the Greentree Stables Galsac in the third race Saturday by trainer Brennan.
