! CLAIMS AND SALES S g There were three claims filed in the second race at Detroit Saturday, Tranquility Farm getting Sunchance for ,500; F. H. Carpenter taking Gold Standard for ,000, and J. D. Mikel acquiring Vanita for the same amount. Mrs. S. Orr filed the first claim of the meeting when she acquired Miss Purray, winner of the fourth race at Detroit Friday, for ,500. There were two claims filed in the fifth race at Detroit Friday. Mrs. H. Torriente took Parity and E. Sigman took Lugen Luggage. Both were entered for ,500. Durango was claimed by J. L. Scobey for 00 at Tanforan. Moratorium, winner of the second race Friday at Aurora, changed hands when B. Hernandez claimed him for ,000. J. D. Larkin, acting for the Hickory Farm Stable, claimed Bar Play out of the first race at Aurora Friday for his entered price of 00.
