BUSHRANGER jumped well and, kept forwardly from the beginning, responded to urging when called upon, disposed of the leaders and had speed in reserve at the end. RIDEAWAY jumped well and kept well up all the Way, saved ground and finished well. SPINACH was taken back under restraint when outrun, improved his position under urging and finished fast. IRISH BULLET handled his weight well and held on gamely. GOLDEN MEADOW made a bad landing at the eighth fence and could not recover thercafteri JUNGLE KING was interfered with by the riderless AMAGANSETT in the final half mile. ROSEMONT worked his way up steadily and moved into contention with a rush entering the stretch, disposed of PLAT EYE in the final eighth and held OMAHA safe in the final drive. OMAHA was eased back in the first sixteenth and steered to the outside, moved up with determination rounding the far turn and was on the outside of the leaders entering the stretch to finish well. PLAT EYE showed good early speed, raced NAUTCH into defeat and held on gamely after saving ground. PSYCHIC BID was placed under restraint when outrun and finished with good courage. GILLIE, a slow beginner, made up ground steadily. NAUTCH quit under urging. SOUND ADVICE had no mishaps. ST. BERNARD quit badly. FIFTH RACE 7-8 MILE. Roseben, Oct. 16, 19061:235126. BAZAAR outbroke her field in motion, .was taken under restraint when outrun and had no mishaps. WAR GLORY improved his position and finished well. THURSDAY worked his way up on the inside.
