1 BLUE BONNETS TURF NOTES s e J. F. OBrien arrived from New York with the platers Conacher, Fashion Show, Wilfred Mac and Gingery. OBrien plans to remain in Montreal for the duration of the local meetings. Jockey L. Laurin arrived from Aurora and will accept mounts Monday. Apprentice C. Scarpulla arrived from Long Island, N. T., to join the stable of L. Pari-dise. Scarpulla has ridden twenty races on the New York circuit and scales at ninety-five pounds. The management of Blue Bonnets has decided to advance all purses in the condition book that are listed at 00 to 00, with the exception of those which call for maidens. Gab, a carded starter in the first race, developed a fever Saturday morning and was excused from starting by the stewards.
