SETTLE LLOYD GENTRY CASff . . Agreement Reached Between Trainer and Canadian Organizations, Gentry Reinstated; License to Be Granted Him All Racing Associations to Be Notified of Action. TORONTO, Ont., May 25. Trainer Lloyd Gentry and the I. C. R. A. have aniicably settled their differences, it was announced today on the eve of the trial of a suit instituted by the trainer against the I. C. R. A.-Monday. Gentry has withdrawn his charges and will receive a license from the I. C. R, A. Following is the transcript of the agree ment between the parties: "The action of Lloyd Gentry against Incorporated Canadian Racing Associations and Albert E. Dyment, George M. Hendriet John H. Madigin, William Woollatt, R. R, Simpson, David S. Gillies arid C. Casserly, being the directors and officers thereof, has today been amicably settled between the parties. "All charges and counter charges between the parties have been unequivocably withdrawn and Mr. Gentry, by arrangement, has today filed an application for a trainers license which the association has agreed to grant and issue to him forthwith. "It has also been agreed that the association upon request of Mr. Gentry will notify by writing such other racing associations or bodies as Mr. Gentry may desire, informing them of his reinstatement in good standing with the association and of tho issue of such license to him. "The action, which has been settled, was fixed to proceed to trial on Monday, tho 27th day of May, before Mr. Justice King-stone and a special jury at Toronto. "It was understood as an informal friendly term of settlement that a statement would be issued to the press, with the ap- proval of counsel for all parties so that the final adjustment of this matter might become as widely known to the public as have some of the previous references to the matter which have heretofore appeared in the press. "Many prominent friends of the thoroughbred and of racing in Ontario have already" congratulated the parties and their counsel upon reaching a friendly settlement of thiS" matter."
