F. THORNDYKE SUSPENDED NEW YORK, N. Y., June 22. The stewards were not satisfied with the ride of F. Thorndyke on Little Woman in the hurdle event, and they suspended him indefinitely and referred his case to the National Steeplechase and Hunt Association for any other punishment that body might deem deserved. In the running it appeared that the apparent loss of a stirrip, more than anything else, accounted for the bad race run by the mare, even though she only finished third.
