i HAWTHORNE TURF NOTES I s e Valdina Farm has leased the services of jockey N. L. Pierson to H. O. Simmons and Pierson was to report to Simmons at Detroit Monday. Furtive, owned by Mrs. E. Denemark, has been thrown out of training and will be turned out at her owners farm near Hinsdale, 111. A. Robertson, contract rider for Milky Way Farms Stable, will take a short rest before the opening of Arlington Park and unless the stable starts Forever Yours in the Illinois Owners Handicap Saturday, is through at Hawthorne for the season.
