FIFTEEN IN OWNERS HANDICAP ,000 Annual Illinois Prize Will Be Decided at Hawthorne Saturday Crack Horses Eligible. Fifteen horses, all locally-owned and representing thirteen owners, are eligible for Saturdays seventh annual running of the ,000 added Illinois Owners Handicap, according to announcement of nominations as made Monday by racing secretary Julius G. Reeder. Almost without exception, all of the eligibles are prominently known, with several of them ranking among the leading handicap performers of the country. Topnotchers among them include St. Bernard, Nellie Flag, Holl Image, Forever Yours, Threadneedle, Corinto, Chasar and several others. The race will be decided over one mile and a furlong. The owners represented are Warren Wright, owner of Nellie Flag; Morris Vehon,-owner of Threadneedle; Mrs. Emil Dene-mark, who named Chasar, Corinto and Brown Feathers, and the lone subscriber to nominate more than one horse; J. E. Hughes, who entered Silent Shot; Mrs. M. E. OToole, owner of Understand; R. T. Watts, represented by Banish Fear; W. E. Schmidt, who named Holl Image; J. J. Coughlin, whose entry is Honored Sir; Mrs. Ethel V. Mars, owner of Forever Yours; C. W. Bid-will, nominator of Gyral; F. Abbate, who entered Prince Torch; E. Dale Shaffer, under -whose silks St. Bernard does his racing, and Mrs. F. M. Grabner, nominator of Spanish Babe. Weights as assigned by Reeder will be announced Tuesday.
