BOURBON PRINCE, incompetently ridden, was, rusficd up .close to LANTY BOY rounding the far turn, was then taken up and permitted to, drop .many lengths back of thc-,pacc with his rider appearing to be attempting to take him under restraint then came again in the stretch and was gaining rapidly at the finish. ROYAL JULIA was taken back early and was permitted to race very wide in the stretch. CRESTA RUN closed some ground. JIM NED was rusfied into exhaustion around the far turn. TOO BUSY showed good speed in pacemaking and saved ground where possible, but could not resist the winner. ULTRA VOTE came again next to the rail in the stretch. EIGHTH POLE made up some ground.
