PANSY ANN, going in her best form and away slowly, worked her way forward on the outside of her field, forged to the front ncaring the final eighth and held GAUL safe. The latter rushed to the front, was unable to draw clear, gave way to. the winner; but held on well. HI-SWEET worked his way through the field and finished strongly. DON GRAFTON, outrun for three-eighths, was sent to the inside for the drive, but tired in the last stages. IMPERIAL POLLY, away slowly and outrun for a half mile, made up ground thereafter. TAKEME raced greenly. BELL METAL quit. SALESTAX was done after three-eighths. ONAN, fractious at the start, showed speed for a half mile. Scratched 27392 Masked Bud, 115. PHOTOGRAPHY, a strong factor from the start and saved early, took command under good urging and won in hand. SPANISH ART, away very slowly and lucky to find room when racing forwardly, was steered to the outside of the leaders in the stretch and closed with a rush. MISS SHIRLEY sprinted Jnto a good lead early, responded to strong urging in the stretch, but tired fast in the last stages. WINDSHIELD, forced to lose ground for three-eighths, was sent through the field for the drive and finished well. MISS ALINE had no mishaps. AUKAI, unable to improve its early position, lost ground entering the stretch and showed little. KITTY KOVER and IMPERIAL LU quit. Overweight Rich Jane, 1 pound. . GYPSiE CHIEF took command at once, drew clear after disposing of REE, responded to good urging when WHIZZ JAMES offered a mild challenge in the stretch and won easily. WHIZZ JAMES, never far back and saved lor a half mile, moved up fast in the stretch and finished well. RAIN OR SHINE, well up from the start, was shuffled back at the far turn, saved ground when clear and held on well. STORM ANGEL, never far back and eased up when in close quarters, showed a sparkling effort. JACKKNIFE lost ground. HEAVY SUGAR had no mishaps. STAR CLUSTER, away well and under good handling from the start, forced the pace under light urging, responded to stronger pressure in the stretch and wore DENBIGH down in the last strides. DENBIGH, going in his best form, took command immediately, sprinted into a good lead early, increased his advantage when put to light urging, but tired fast in the last stages. JADVA worked her way forward steadily, was inclined to bear in in the stretch, but finished well. OBANTAM made up ground. ERUPTION tired. BEN SWEEP fell when being pulled up sharply after the finish and unseated his rider. BONICON quit and tossed its rider when trying to avoid a spill after the finish. OLD FONDO showed little. HIGH TORQUE rushed to the front early, held a clear advantage under strong urging, but tired near the end. ALBUQUERQUE, a strong factor from the start, swung wide entering the stretch and tired. CHINESE EMPRESS, never far back, improved her position after three-eighths, was forced wide entering the stretch, but came again in th elast stages.
