1 BAY MEADOWS NOTES s and Jockey Ralph Neves is eligible to ride Thursday, his suspension of six months having expired. The two-year-olds, Jonnies Gin, and Kil-burnie, which were purchased from the sale held last Friday by Mrs. W. D. Geoghegan were turned over to trainer H. L. Robertson who will condition them for their future engagements. Unless disappointment attends the plans of trainer William Crump, who has fourteen head of the King Ranch stable at Tanforan the brown and white silks of owner R. J. Kleberg will figure in several victories at the San Bruno course. Don Manners is outstanding among the juveniles which Crump is conditioning, while the older division is headed by Caslium. Others in the stable are Texas Flag, Huerfanita, Acero, Chipeso, Como No n., Bruja, Ciencia, Chicharra, Chee Dee, Chiruption, Pascua, and Suspero. Indian Broom, which like Seabiscuit and others in the Howard string is stabled at Tanforan, travelled one mile in 1:41 Wednesday morning. Indian Broom is coupled in Saturdays race with Whichcee and the pair should make a formidable duo. Count Atlas worked a slow three-eighths Wednesday as did Monsweep. Saturday will undoubtedly prove a banner day at Bay Meadows. The management of the California Jockey Club anticipates the largest crowd ever to attend a day of sport at the track. This record attendance is assured because all boxes and reserved seats have been sold while not a clubhouse table can be had. The committee in charge of the hospital ticket sale, states that 40,000 admission tickets have been purchased by those wishing to help out on Charity Day for the crippled children. Top Radio, Proclivity, Skeetshooter and Game oDoon, the property of R. P. Mc-Culloch, arrived from San Diego and were turned over to Charlie Irby to train. i l
