Won easily; second and third driving. RANGE DUST, away fast and well ridden, increased his advantage steadily and won with much to spare. ED, in close quarters early, moved up fast when clear and finished strongly. SUPREME SPEED, unable to . find racing room early, was taken to the inside for the drive and closed with a rush. SUPERSTITION, fractious at the post, raced greenly and tired near the finish. ROMAUNT dropped back soon after the start, then worked his way up rapidly after recovering, but hung near the end. SADIE F., away fast but reserved when outrun, responded in fine style when called upon to wear down the leaders in the final sixteenth and won going away. STAR BANNER, slow to begin and outrun for a half mile, was taken to the inside, for the drive and closed with a rush. RUSSMOR, steadied along early, moved up fast on the outside when called upon, came over on MALEMAN when entering the stretch, but tired fast after attaining a clear lead. MORTS PAL came from far back. MALEMAN, hustled along from the start, was impeded when tiring and gave way fast in the final eighth. JUDGE LEERtired after improving his position. LADY ARIEL, well ridden and steadied along when outrun, moved up when asked, was carried wide by COPY CAT during the final eighth, but won drawing away. COPY CAT sprinted into a comfortable lead oarly, was steadied along for threo-eighths, bore out slightly when tiring in the stretch and failed to withstand the winner. MARK HELLINGER, well up from the start, tired near the end. BLUE ICE, away slowly and outrun for a half mile, responded fast after being sent to the inside and finished strongly. AL-HIGH failed to keep up. TED EASY raced greenly and tired after improving his position. ALAN CHICLE had speed. Scratched Sickle T., 120; 52300 Imperial Jean, 120. CHERRY JAM, outrun early, moved up in the stretch and finished well. LIKLY LAD took a slight lead early, but gave way to the winner and tired rapidly nearing ihc finish. HANTS had no mishaps and showed an even effort. VANWIND ran off a sixteenth before the start and showed nothing in the running. HOLTON was overmatched. FIFTH RACE 1 1-16 MILES. BOURBON KING, cleverly handled and steadied along while forcing the pace, swung wide entering the stretch, responded to strong hand riding when wearing down LASSATOR and won drawing away. The latter took command at once, moved into the lead on the inside, but was unable to draw clear and tired in the final sixteenth. HUNTERDON bore out on the winner at the lower turn and forced the pace under good urging, but tired. PALCO, outrun to the strdch, closed with a rush on the outside. RED ROGUE, racing in his best form and rated off the pace, responded readily to strong urging in the last three-eighths and, continuing gamely, wore down MT. SARD in the final sixteenth. The latter, away fast and close to the pace, disposed of LADY DEDLOCK, but was unable to withstand the winner. LADY DEDLOCK displayed good speed from .the start, saved ground while setting the pace, but was not good enough. BABY SIS was on the outside throughout and never threatened. HAZEL EYE began slowly and made up some ground to close strongly. BIOGRAPHY dropped back soon after the start and was no factor. Overweight Lady Dedlock, 2 pounds. Corrected weight Pawn Ticket, 115.
