SEABISCUIT AMONG ENTRIES i Named for 5,000 Added Bay Me,adows Handicap, to Be Run Saturday at Bay Meadows. SAN MATEO, Calif., April 14. The office staff of Bay Meadows was on hand this morning to take entries for Saturdays Char-I ity Day big race program, but, aside from I the 5,000 added Bay Meadows Handicap, I the races failed to fill satisfactorily and it I was decided to wait another day before pub-j lishing the list. Entries for the Meadows . gala day will be taken Friday morning. Eleven horses were named for the. Bay Meadows Handicap and Seabiscuit was I among those listed. Jockey George Woolf I arrived from the South this morning and has been named to ride the Howard champion Saturday. Woolf had the leg up on the "Biscuit" in the Santa Anita Handicap, in which he was beaten a nose by Stagehand. Woolf was convinced that, but for the interference i suffered from Count Atlas soon after the start, he would have won that race and is anxious to redeem himself in the eyes of the public. WOOLF IDEAL CHOICE. Woolf, who was set down for striking jockey Adams, rider of Count Atlas, with his whip in the Santa Anita Handicap, is re- garded as an ideal choice for Seabiscuit now 1 that jockey Pollard is indisposed. The boy weigha about 120 pounds, so the Howard star will not be required to carry much lead or dead weight. Aside from Seabiscuit, those named for the Bay Meadows Handicap this morning were Patty Cake, Count Atlas, Rommy, Primulus, Today, Gosum, Sweepalot, Indian Broom, Don Roberto and Advocator. The latter is a stablemate of Seabiscuit. The doubtful ones are Patty Cake and Count Atlas.
