LICENSE COMMITTEE MEETS NEW YORK, N. Y., April 14. The license committee and board of stewards of The Jockey Club met here today. Thirty-nine trainers and six jockeys were granted licenses. The stewards took cognizance of the sixty-day suspension of J. .Bauer in posed by the Florida commission earlier in the week. They approved the officials who will serve at the. Delaware Park meeting, June 8 to July 9. George Brown will serve as steward representing The Jockey Club, and W. D. Harron will replace Al Weston in the stand. The other officials are the same as last year. Samuel D. Riddle, Herbert Bayard Swope and C. V. Whitney informally discussed the War Admiral-Sea-biscuit match race at Belmont Park on May 30. They said they were still awaiting word from Charles S. Howard, owner of Seabiscuit. 1
