KEENELAND TURF NOTES s- s Ernest Hanke, who had his first mount during the recent Oaklawn Park meeting, is here with Frank Barton. Hanke, who hails from Chicago, 111., was with the R. N. Vestal stable prior to becoming affiliated with the Barton establishment. Mose Goldblatt, whose horses are quartered at Churchill Downs, motored here for the opening and to inspect his Silversmith,-which Hunter Moody is training. James Hisle, 17 year old lad from Lexington, will make his riding debut during the current meeting at Keeneland. The youngster has been exercising horses for the past three years and is under contract to Ken Cobb. Another addition to the riding colony at the local course is Harold Beasy, who rode with a good measure of success in California during the winter. He will ride free lance here.
