I I I I j 1 1 LOUISVILLE TURF NOTES S ; $ A bay son of Sickle and Bottle Green is among early foals at R. Wallace Mcllvains Walmac Farm, near Lexington. This youngster is a half-brother to Bar Fly, and the two-year-old Olney, which will make his bow here this spring. A colt by Pharamond II. and a filly by Gallant Fox are other 1938 babies at the McHvain nursery. The racing secretarys office at Churchill Downs will be opened Monday for the acceptance of registrations and license applications. James T. Clark will be on hand to help racing secretary William H. Shelley in this work. The horses that Lee ODonnell will cam-Ipaign at Keeneland under Mrs. Frank J. Navins Tall Trees Stable colors, got away for the Lexington track. Included in the shipment was the filly Last Message, a candidate for many stakes, including the Kentucky Derby and Kentucky Oaks.
