LAST SCAMP, unable to hold his position after going a quarter, rallied stoutly when taken to the outside in the last three-sixteenths, finished full of run in the stretch drive and was up in the last strides. VITASCOPE, well up from the beginning, lost ground entering the home stretch, but finished fast when straightened out. OPOCA was rushed up fast on the inside nearing the turn, dropped back slightly, but came determinedly between horses in the final drive. WINDSORS HOPE broke swiftly to take command and held on well after meeting early bids. RED NOSE could not get to the leaders. PAPLAY and WORTHFUL were outrun. DIZZY DAME, kept on the outside early, went up fast at the turn, overhauled WISE MONEY when straightened into the home stretch and drew out gradually under light pressure. WISE MONEY displayed good speed after moving into the lead, shook off GOLDEN KEY and saved ground, but failed to withstand the winner. TOOTHPICK was a forward contender all during the running and held on well to the end. ZOWIE made up some ground in the late stages. GOLDEN KEY showed speed for five-eighths, then tired. LADYS FAVOR raced evenly. PRETTYLASS was unable to threaten. QUEEN VIC was used up early. SANDY MEADOWS was never a factor. Scratched 53280Chicanna, 119. SNOBBY SCAMP, kept on the outside of the leaders from the start, raced wide going into the home stretch when moving into the lead, was shaken up during the- final eighth and had enough in reserve to withstand LITTLE WACKIE at the Finish. The latter, rated close to the leaders from the start, rallied to punishment and finished with good courage. STORY TIME, taken up repeatedly in the first five-eighths, settled into stride and came with a belated rush at the end. ADVOCATE JUNIOR raced close to TZIGANE on the inside, but faltered in the stretch drive. TZIGANE was steadied in front, but failed to rally when placed to a hard drive. TOP STAFF, away well but unable to keep up with the leaders, finished courageously under a hard drive in the closing test. ORCHIDS NEXT saved ground at the stretch turn and moved up steadily while finishing on the inside. DUST TO DUST was badly ridden all the way. JACAM showed good speed for a quarter mile. WARLAINE, fractious at the post and delaying the start, raced forwnrdly all the way and came stoutly in the closing drive while finishing on the inside. TELLING THEM, beginning slowly, moved tip steadily, but failed to menace. GRAPE THIEF was hard ridden, but was not a factor. ARACHNE raced poorly and was badly outrun. SIXTH RACE 1 1-8 MILES. BLADE EDGE was well up all the way and held on gamely. ELSIE J. failed to threaten seriously. GOLDEN THRONE raced well. MISCHIEF-MAKER tired. after going three-quarters. HUPPY was outrun.
