1 KEENELAND TURF NOTES o $ Another of the riding LeBlanc family is expected to make his debut at Keeneland, when Euclid, younger brother of Norman, Hubert and C. P. LeBlanc, mounts one of the horses trained by his big brother Norman. According to observers, Euclid shows more promise than his older brothers before they accepted their first mounts. The younger of the LeBlancs has just turned sixteen, and, according to Norman, has been galloping horses the past four years. B. F. Clark has his two-horse stable of Mature and Gold Meter in training here. Jolo and Sanders are the only horses the veteran trainer H. Louden has at this time. Louden is training the pair for John Jewell here. The horses that C. N. "Doc" Finch shipped to Keeneland from Hot Springs, Ark., are Clashman, Seven Star, Barbara J, Palco, Lady Dedlock and Military Miss. He arrived from his home in Jeffersonville, Ind., to assume active charge of the outfit. J. D. Stevenson, who is training a number of horses for Young and Rogers, registered the following with the racing secretary: Split Silk, Indian Silk, Gladsome, More Ringlets, Try Em, Heel Dust, Bright and Veer. Harry Fleming, former owner and trainer who served as agent for Clyde Troutt prior to the disposal of the Troutt stable, came in from New Orleans and will remain throughout the Keeneland meeting. Eight horses, the property of Connie Smythe, Canadian ice hockey impresario, and one belonging to Dr. R. H. Bardwell, arrived Wednesday. The Smythe horses are Shoeless Joe, Ocala, Sink or Swim and the following two-year-olds: Sir Marlboro, Indignant, Blue Ice, Skating Fool and Please Doctor. Dr. Bardwells lone representative is Kleen Flight.
