INSPECT WOOLF YEARLINGS LOUISVILLE, Ky., May 19.— The yearlings at H. M. Woolfs Woolford Farm, which ho I inspected this week, include many fine pros-I pects, according to Ben A. Jones. Several j of the colts are as fine individuals as a I horseman would want, he said. On the same j trip Jones spent a day at his own farm. I where he found the breeding stock and growing young thoroughbreds in fine condition. Jones also took time off from his heavy duties as trainer of the Woolf stable, the largest at Churchill Downs, to point out that the Preakness running confirmed the Kentucky Derby result in that Dauber, the i Preakness winner, was far in front of j Menow, Cant Wait and others while losing the Derby to Lawrin by a length. Jones is I confident that Lawrin will go on to prove himself the best three-year-old of the year.
