PASCH EPSOM DERBY CHOICE Recedes Slightly in Wagering, But Is Finally Quoted at 2 to 1 — Betting Is Brisk. Special Cablegram. LONDON, England, May 19.— In a call-over of the Derby card at the Victoria Club here last night, in a brisk betting market, H. E. Morris Two Thousand Guineas winner. Pa.«ch. was a receding favorite but finally closed a firm choice at odds of 2 to 1. Sir Abe Baileys Golden Sovereign also lengthened in price after some nice bets were noted about the Newmarket Stakes winner. He still was on offer at odds of 7 to 1. There was brisk demands for Sir Humphrey de Traffords Port Marnock, on reports from Newmarket that he had completely recovered from shin soreness and had plea.-ed the critics in a good gallop. All the longer rates of odds were eagerly snapped up about last years champion two-year-old, he closing a well played third choice at odds of 10 to 1. James V. Ranks Scottish Union held his price position while Lord Astors Pound Foolish shortened in odds, both being finally quoted at odds of 100 to 9. The Aga Khans Mirza II. also was firm in the betting with final offers of 20 to 1 accepted about his chances.
