GOV. CHANDLERS OWNERSHIP LOUISVILLE, Ky.. May 19.— Under the terms of an agreement, the horse Gov. Chandler will perform under the colors of Mrs. K. Ramsey until his engagement in the Illinois Derby, after which he will race for the account of Howard Hawks, according to trainer Kirby Ramsey. Gov. Chandler is entered in a race at Churchill Downs Friday. The Reigh Count gelding was purchased last week from J. C. Metz, and later Ramsey announced that the horse would be shipped to Hawks in California, after the Aurora stake.
