1 SUFFOLK DOWNS NOTES « _ Permission has been granted to add spurs to the equipment of Peerless Pal in the fourth race Friday at Suffolk Downs. Evelyn Lee has been placed on the Suffolk Downs steward list. John T. Ward wired from Jamaica that he was shipping Deliberator, Consuello and Wise Dart to Suffolk Thursday. Doctor C. N. will not be permitted to start until approved by the starter. Clyde Ponce, at private sale, acquired the double winner Four Spot from Medway Stable. Phil Bieber has taken a call on the Chilean jockey R. Donoso. Donoso is under contract to the Cedar Farms Stable. Thomas H. Wilson has taken over Mr. Walter to train for Miss Kay Kelley, local sportswoman. Dick Christmas shipped in twelve horses to Suffolk Downs. Included in the shipment was the New England favorite, Accolade. H. D. Cox shipped in five horses. Cox developed jockey Johnny Gilbert. The Fanfare Farms Stable is dickering for the services of Carroll Bierman. While negotiations are going on he will ride Black-birder in the 0,000 added Puritan Handicap Saturday. Bierman rode for the Fanfare Farms last season, winning three stakes on Blackbirder at Suffolk Downs. B. F. Lister Providence mill owner, and owner of the good sire Clock Tower, left Boston to attend the dispersal sale of the Admiral Grayson horses at Belmont Park. After Fridays races, Monte Parke and Freddie Schieh will leave for Woodbine where he will ride Medway Stables Sly Cat in the historic Kings Plate. »
