WICKS UNLUCKY ,500 CLAIM NEW YORK, N. Y., May 3.— William Wick filed claim for Staff Sergeant, a starter in the first race which dropped dead in the running. The horse raced under the name of Milo Shields and was prominent in the early running. He fell inside the quarter mile pole and was pronounced dead by the track veterinarian. The dead horse cost William Wick ,500.
