BUDGE GETS N. Y. FAIR CUP NEW YORK, N. Y., May 3.— Don Budge, king of the tennis world, was awarded the "Golden Laurel" trophy at the New York Worlds Fair. A committee named to choose the star athlete of the nation selected Budge. The plaque was given Budge in the court of sport, which was dedicated under the supervision of Christy Walsh, with help from, Capt. Eddie Rickenbacker and Babe Ruth.
