WOULD BAN BUND UNIFORMS ALBANY, N. Y., May 3.— With the full backing of the Republic and state leaders, a bill was introduced in the senate today prohibiting organizations like the German-American bund from wearing uniforms . in public. The measure was introduced by Senator Joe R. Hanley, republican majority leader. He said it was drafted at the request of Edwin F. Jaeckle, chairman of the Republican State Executive committee. The bill prohibits the wearing of the uniform of any foreign country, regularly accredited embassy and legation attaches are exempted. The senate earlier this week passed the Mc-Naboe bill, also aimed at the bund, making it a felony for any one to conspire to deprive another person or persons of the constitutional rights of free speech, free assembly and freedom of worship.
