DIES READY WITH REPORTS WASHINGTON, D. C, May 20.— Dies committee members said today that they probably would make public next week a series of secret reports, many of them of a fantastic nature, on which a group of anti-semites attempted to base a subtle, nation-wide campaign against Jews. The reports, numbering 180 and covering a twenty-two months period, purport to be stenographic transcripts of conversations between prominent members of an exclusive -New York City club, were gathered, according to the committees evidence, by Dudley Pierrepont Gilbert, wealthy New York socialite, through an informant, and subsequently were distributed to key personages over the nation " on a confidential basis. Described by Chairman Dies as "highly inflammatory documents calculated to incite racial hatred," the reports purported to disclose a plot by the club members to seize control of the government. Other material, including speeches by Major-General Moseley, retired army officer, and Father Coughlin, went to an additional 160 persons.
