G0EBBELS THREATENS POLAND WITH FORCE IN DANZIG FIGHT BERLIN, Germany, May 20.— Germanys military prowess was flaunted before Poland today, with the warning that the Reichs demands for Danzig must be satisfied or Poland will meet German bayonets. Propaganda Minister Goebbels, in a speech at Cologne, intimated that Germany would not long stand on her present proffered solution of the Danzig problem, but would make more severe demands. At the same time, Grand Admiral Erich Raeder, German naval commander-in-chief, revealed that Chancellor Hitler is launching an intensive ship building program, designed to keep pace with Great Britain, the United States and France. Goebbels insisted that Danzig is a German city and "belongs to us." The Reichs demands in the Polish Corridor, he said, are just and moderate. Goebbels said: "If the worst comes to the worst, we will not continue to base our arguments on ideals. Then our foes will meet German bayonets. These enemies should know by now that Germany has the greatest of all armies and air forces, while the German navy is among the worlds greatest sea powers." Britain was taunted as being frightened because she is seeking art alliance with Russia against Germany.
