LOW CUTS, away fast, but unable to keep up, worked his way forward steadily, responded to strong urging when wearing down STROLLING HIGH and won drawing away. SYMPATHIZER, in close quarters early, moved forward when clear and closed in resolute fashion. STROLLING HIGH, steadied along early, improved his position when ready, established a good lead after taking command, gave way to the winner and tired rapidly thereafter. KENTUCKY EAGLE saved ground and "had no mishaps. MALMAISON made up-ground. SEQUOIA, hustled to the front, tired rapidly after a half mile. WILD CALL quit. SECOND RACE 3-4 MILE Out of Chute. DON ROMIRO, going in his best form and steadied along early, was forced wide when moving forward entering the stretch, came fast when straight, took command when inside the final eighth and lasted. FLETUS, never far back and forced to lose ground early, responded to strong urging in the drive and was wearing .the winner down. SIVA, hustled along from the start, tired after offering a determined bid approaching the final eighth. BOJANGLES, shuffled back at the upper turn, saved ground thereafter, forged to the front by saving ground entering the stretch, but was unable to withstand the leaders. DODD, rushed into a 1 good early lead, swung wide entering the stretch and tired rapidly thereafter. MAEBOB came from well back. LITTLE DAVEY, hustled along from the start, was gaining on the winner. SPEEDY SQUAW, slow to begin and outrun early, moved up after a quarter and closed resolutely. BAF CEE tired. UPHOLD, hustled along from the start, tired. SUSIEBELL, away slowest of all, improved her position rapidly during the opening half mile and closed with a rush. CHARMETTE came from well back. ADORESS raced wide while improving her position and tired. MOLLY FLY, slow to begin, was shuffled back at the far turn and showed nothing thereafter. WEEBAG was outrun. HEINOUS had early speed. TAKE ON rushed forward when clear, engaged the winner approaching the final quarter and, used up in the duel, tired in the last stages. STEEL KING came from well back. MARBOLD tired. WOODEN INDIAN, never far back, saved ground after a quarter and closed with a rush. HASTY STAR sprinted into a good early lead, set a good pace, then gave way to BANNER MAN after reaching the stretch and tired rapidly thereafter. MOONISH showed an even effort. GRACE GRIER, hustled along from the start, established a big lead after disposing of POVERTY BAY, swung wide entering the stretch, came again when straight and finished strongly. FOR ROMANCE moved up after five-eighths, was carried wide entering the stretch and came again when straightened away. POVERTY BAY rushed to the front, gave way when challenged, held on wcli and met interference at the stretch turn. BAY EAGLE made up ground. MANNERLY had no mishaps. POPO quit. LISTOWEL made up ground. WOODWAAC tired. IMPERIAL HIGH had no mishaps. GRAND MARIE and FANDAN were outrun.
