MORE ARRIVALS AT OMAHA Another Car of Horses Gets in From California — Ohio Shipment En Route to Track. OMAHA, Neb., May 23.— Another car of horses arrived from California, making the fifth load of thoroughbreds to come from the Golden State for the start of racing at Ak-Sar-Ben field next Saturday. Still more horses are on their way, according to word from Harvey Foster, Ak-Sar-Bens representative, who notified judge Ben Holmes that Bruce Broadfoot and Dr. Miller have started a car, including Deer Fly, which has won a number of feature races in the recent competition at Bay Meadows.. Due to arrive from Beulah Park was an entire train load of thoroughbreds, which had been previously given stall reservations. John L. Watkins, Ak-Sar-Bens clerk of scales, has been at Beulah Park attending to the shipping details of this contingent, which includes the stables of T. B. Miller, E. E. Major, Marion Allen, C. O. Grieves, J. McBride, G. W. Dunn, A. L. Hunt, H. Manifold, Ed Orin, Bud Ray, Ruff and Tice. Chehalis, which holds the two-mile record at Ak-Sar-Ben, is included in G. W. Dunns stable. In the car just arrived from California were Claude Sawyers horses, Omar, San Diequito, Polaris, Sistina and Empress Hills; Walter Zeigler had Jockwell, Company, Business Man and Sky Bingo; Al White had Hals Pet and Fritter Circle, and Melvin Robertson had Als Pride, which won a race at Bay Meadows just before shipping. Another arrival Sunday was the five-horse stable of W. N. Bigley, of Oklahoma, including Brigler, Marconia, Pavisand, Indictment and Jean Andrews.
