He conferred with the mu- tuels director, Mort Shaw, regarding open- ing routine. Six horses from the Vick Ridge Stable of Kentucky will be shipped over from Lincoln Fields to Arlington Park this week. Trainer C. Hyde will ship Don Creole and Oddesa Knight from the same point. Trainer Geo. Brooks will campaign nine horses, owned by the Shady Brook Farm of : Theodore Muller, chairman of Kentucky p Racing Commission, at Arlington Park. The , string includes the juveniles Onnaught and I Dahomey, candidates for the Hyde Park Stakes. R. S. Shelley, new Arlington Park racing , secretary and handicapper, arrived Sunday J from Winnipeg. R. P. McAulliffe and Thom-!i as Steele, members of his staff, got in the « same day from Cleveland. Walmac Stables Chi and Olney, both 1 Classic candidates, are included in the twen-k - ty-two-horse public stable which trainer r Howard "Babe" Wells will race at Arlington 1 Park.
