i j. y e :- d - h DURANDO RIDES FIRST WINNER CLEVELAND, Ohio, June 20.— Charley Durando, 19-year-old Brooklyn, N. Y., boy was astride the first winner of his riding career here at North Randall, Monday, when Apple Time carried him to victory in the third race. The curly-haired youngster is riding here for J. G. Bussey, who Jias his contract leased from James "Sunny Jim" Fitzsimmons. Young Durando has been gal-s loping horses for some three years, Seabis-s cuit and Johnstown being two of the horses he has exercised while working in the Fitzsimmons stable.
