! DUFFERIN PARK TURF NOTES T « 4 I Trainer K. S. Cleveland returned from a I few days visit to Kentucky and brought Novette and Shirley Jean to add to the stable of C. B. Gooch. Jockey R. Duggan accepted his first mount of the meeting when he piloted S. Hoovers Alcodema in the first race on Mondays card. Jockey T. Aimers returned from Detroit following his engagement "on P. Mecklenburgs Lissom Lad on Saturdays card there. Trainer R. Evadinger has taken over the mare Havergal to train for G. Smith. H. J. Holland has acquired the eight-year-old gelding Lamporte from W. Thurner and placed him in charge of trainer E. P Mon-teith. Miss Franklin, of 121 Cqady Avenue, Toronto, is anxious to get in touch with her father, D. Franklin, who is believed to be at Lincoln Fields, Chicago. Franklin was formerly with the Canadian stable of F. Callahan, who raced Mineralogist in Canada a few years ago. Trainer F. T. Butler has taken over the horses Tempestuous and Wise King, the property of Mrs. T. Stevenson of Hamilton, Ont. They are in training at the Hamilton Jockey Club course. J. H. Words Bold Pirate carried the corrected weight of 113 pounds in the running of the seventh race Monday. Mrs. E. Simpsons Far Cry came out of the last race Monday in a lame condition and has been placed on the veterinarys list by the stewards at Dufferin Park. Edwin Allan, in charge of the identification system of the Incorporated Canadian Racing Association, will be at the Hamilton Jockey Club on Wednesday morning for the registration of stable employes at that point.
