to e° i- D i- ii be e JOFFRION ESCAPES UNHURT OMAHA, Neb., June 20.— Apprentice L. j. Joffrion narrowly escaped serious injury y when he fell from C. E. Daniels Newcastle e Lad in the second race. The horse was rac-r :- ing in the middle of the pack and appeared d to be going strong when he stumbled, throw-l- - ing Joffrion over his head, but the lad was only shaken up and immediately arose to his feet and walked to the jockeys quarters with h the bridle of his mount in his hand.
