The horse was rac-r :- ing in the middle of the pack and appeared d to be going strong when he stumbled, throw-l- - ing Joffrion over his head, but the lad was only shaken up and immediately arose to his feet and walked to the jockeys quarters with h the bridle of his mount in his hand.
