SIMKOE was bothered after the start, was then sent up on the outside and finished going fast. DURABLE swerved over to the inside rounding the turn and was bumping JOCKS ANN in iho final seventy yards. JOCKS ANN was away well and. under pressure in the early running, was tiring when impeded. The latter was under a choking pull the first mile and a half and, steered wide at the turns, finished stoutly on his own courage at the end. FARNDALE moved up the second turn of the field on the outside and linished well at the end. ONE ROUND was taken up at the start, trailed his field the first turn and then made up ground slowly at the finish. WILFRID G. had no mishaps in the running. Overweight — Farndale. 3 pounds. GERMANS was in near pursuit of the pace from the start, tired in the final eighth, but outlasted CHARMING HEROD at the end. The latter, fractious at the post, closed ground through the stretch run.
