Stout here to ride Fighting Fox in the Brooklyn Handicap instead of sending him to Delaware Park. Thellusson, owned by the Belair Stud, and Gilded Knight, owned by the Wheatley Stable, are due back at Aqueduct following the running of the Kent Stakes at Delaware Park. Jockeys Wright and Arcaro departed for Delaware Park to ride Saturday. They are both due back Monday. John Gaver of the Greentree Stable, left for Delaware Park to saddle Hash and Third Degree in the Kent Stakes. Hughie Fontaine of the Brookmeade Stable, is due here tomorrow to saddle Hand-l cuff in the Brooklyn Handicap. Louis Meripole arrived from Chicago and will stay for a few days. Samuel D. Riddle was among Saturday afternoons visitors. He came out to witness his Tall Story in the fifth race. Jockey J. Renick will go to Boston on Sat-s urday to ride Sally Pass By in a stake en-" gagement there. Trainer J. W. Healy was notified that twenty-one yearlings owned by J. H. Whit-c ney will be shipped to Saratoga Springs for breaking and education. Ten fillies and eleven colts comprise the lot. Ben Russman, popular figure in eastern racing circles for many years, was elected president of the Turf Employees Association at its annual meeting held at Bearers Hall, 235 West 52nd Street. Others chosen to serve the wearers of the horse shoe-encircled green shamrock indicating membership in the turfs largest benevolent organization were: Morton Myers, vice-president; Ira Pennock, treasurer; Maurice Hamburg, sec-■ retary, and Robert J. McCormick, Edward P. Farrell and Harry Aronson, trustees. A successful insurance drive was con-y ducted and plans made for the annual outing to be held at Lake George during August.
