Baker, Sr., racing forces, embracing Janice, Jack W., Helen Mac, Litton Hickman and the juveniles Quinlan, Endy and Little Jack, were moved to Latonia Thursday. The George Gould stable has moved to Latonia. It included Sky Ball, Good Star, Romaine, Blue Play, Dick Bray, One Witch. Midas, Blue Fang, Kievs Pennant and Double R. Jack Benny, the noted comedian, watched Thursdays races from the clubhouse. He is . j a devout racing fan and his namesake, Buck Benny, is at present racing here. Jack Yerian, who will start the horses there, has departed for the Lancaster, Ohio, meeting which begins June 24. Page C. Stevenson has arrived from the East with his three-horse stable of Fair Scout, Little Baldy and Scotch Twin. Jockey Tex Callahan, who has contracted to ride the members of the Charles C. Van Meter stable at the Latonia meeting, will j . leave here for the Kentucky track Monday. Jockey Ted Atkinson left for Arlington Park, where he will report to the main di-I vision of the Calumet Stable, trained by Frank Kearns. J. J. Feeney, New York sportsman, is now in the East on business. He plans to return here for the last week of racing. Douglas West, leading apprentice of the meeting, departed for Latonia, where he will ride for his contract employer, Joseph Schmitt. Apprentice Edward Elam and jockeys Jack Richard and Robert Conley departed for Arlington Park.
