MISS ADAMS, taken under mild reserve early, moved to the leaders when urged, responded to strong riding, took command and was ready to draw clear. PANSY ANN, never far back, challenged boldly, but could not withstand the winner. ALS PRIDE took command at once, was steadied while setting the pace, but failed to keep up when subjected to pressure. CHICA, in the heavy wing early, failed to improve her position when urged. SASSAFRAS tired after reaching contention. BELLE OF MIDWAY was outrun. NIGHT GAIL, awav in a tangle, was taken to the worst part of the track and weakly handled thereafter. SON OF DAY began slowly, improved his position steadily, finished gamely, but was no serious threat. INGLE NOOK tired in the stretch. GlSTAVIA had no excuse. SRAH JUSTICE, placed forwardly earh, failed to keep up in the stretch. BANDALORE lacked speed.
