LANCASTER OPENS TODAY LANCASTER, Ohio, June 23.— Thoroughbred racing comes back to town tomorrow, Vt when the local meeting begins its nine-day run over the half-mile track. Post time is 2:15, with eight races in the offering. Presiding e- in the stewards stand will be judge re Owen E. Pons, Sr., veteran racing official, , with his assistants being E. W. Stribling * and Robert J. Dienst. John Carey is racing g secretary for the meeting, and other officials Is are Jack Yerian, starter, and Tom Moran, n, clerk of scales. Seven races will be offered d every day, with the exception of Saturdays •s and holidays. On those days eight will be e staged.
