1 KINGS PARK TURF NOTES 1 s * About four and one-half furlongs races here are 180 feet less than that mark. About five and one-half furlongs route is forty-four feet less at Kings Park. Starter Richeys crew here consists of A. Jones, D. Fisher, G. Robertson, R. Brown and F. Morgan. Under the supervision of mutuel manager James Walsh, the calculators room has been increased twice its size since a year ago. Ex-jockey T. The largest stable quartered at any of the local courses is that owned by Floyd and Guy Shultz, which shipped here from Fair-mount Park. Their string consists of Captain Logan, Proposing, Zelady, Alergy, Prince Pad, Merry Freda, Polite Ford, Ace of Spades, -Gannonnic and Whisk R. A number of riders are expected here from Toronto at the close of the Dufferin meeting. They include J. Mann, J. Thomas, and apprentice L. Beckett. Tom Savage is making the riding engagements of jockey B. Marshio and apprentice F. Scott. Jockey Frank Collins, who rode with success on Toronto tracks this spring, and who led the riders list at Blue Bonnets a year ago, arrived here Friday. His book is being handled by G. Hosholey. A welcome addition to the jockeys ranks here this season is Charlie Mills, who finished well in advance of his fellow riders at the recent Wheeling Downs session.
