ROXANA S. bettered her position gradually, closed with good courage and was getting to the winner. JILDAC moved to contention under mild pressure, responded gamely when urged, but could not threaten the first two. STAR ROYAL gave a fine performance under strong riding. VISHNU quit. FUNDERBURG began slowly and was outpaced. BEAVER LAKE could not keep up. CHARLES T. had earlv speed. MARIA JULIET reared in the air at the start and was as good as left. TRICKY MISS attained a decisive lead early, but tired in the stretch. DICK DARING closed resolutely from a «low beginning. GLOVE raced well under a hustling rido. CROSSBECK had no excuses. COUNT CARY tired hi the final stages. JOHNNY ROCK failed to keep up in the stretch. DAVIDOR quit. FRITTER CIRCLE was prominent for three-quarters, but failed to respond to punishment Overweight — Glove. 3 pounds.
