Start bad and slow. Won driving; second and third easily. GAY TROUBADOUR improved his position steadily in the stretch run, responded to severe pressure and outfinished STATE WITNESS in the final strides. The latter was sent into command with a rush after the start, drew away into a safe lead and then faltered in the final stages. CAMISADO was taken under restraint when outrun, was placed under pressure in the stretch, but could not menace the leaders. CHIEF MOURNER showd a good effort throughout. RITORNO broke in a tangle, moved up fast on the outside ami then tired at the finish. HUNTER L. was never a serious factor. EASTER HOLIDAY broke slowly and was outrun. SECOND RACE ABOUT 1 3-4 MIXES. COMMENCEMENT overcame early interference, improved her position and finished well. PICTURE BRIDE broke slowly and was sent up on the inside under pressure, assumed command for a few strides in the stretch run and then hung. COAST TO COAST showed an even effort all the way.
