WOMENS AMATEUR IN WEST NEW YORK. N. Y., June 24.— The. United States Golf Association has announced that the 1940 womens amateur golf championship will be staged at the Pebble Beach course of the Del Monte, Calif., golf course in 1940. Playing dates for the tournament will be assigned at a later date.
