UCANMAYKIT, racing in his best form, was prominent from the start and, steered between the leaden turning into the stretch, responded to strong riding and drew clear in the final sixteenth. MIKES LUCK, in close quarters rounding the far turn and moving to the leaders when clear, finished gamely. BLACK RHAPSODY, hustled from the start, continued gamely when challenged, but tired in the final strides. SIR ISAAC, away fast, lacked early speed and had no mishaps in the stretch run. SERENATA MAID, in close quarters soon after the start, raced on the extreme outside for the final half mile. JOSIE JANE tired in the final drive. NO FAIR had a burst of earlv speed. SECRET LOVER, racing forwardly from the start and on the outside turning into the stretch, disposed of FRONT FENDER, but could not reach the winner. CRABTREE saved ground in the early stages and came out for the final drive, but was not good enough. FRONT FENDER forced the pace from the start and tired in the final eighth. CUP DEFENDER, fractious at the start and unseating his rider before the start, broke poorly and went wide turning into the stretch. BEAUTIFUL BUD faltered in the final stages. OVERALL BILL was eliminated at the start. CORTIES JOHN dropped out of it at the start. DIXIE TORCH quit. OBSESSION, fractious at the post, was outrun after a half mile and was eased up. The latter forced the pace under occasional urging, was strongly ridden through the stretch, took command approaching the final sixteenth, but could not hold the winner. UNION, outrun in the early stages and steered to the outside for the final drive, closed resolutely. DONA NUTTER, hustled to the lead and strongly urged when tiring in the final eighth, held on gamely. SPRINGMEYER lacked earlv speed and raced on the outsid* the final three eighths. HASTY RUTH had a burst ot early speed. SIDOUT faltered in the final drive. SPEED SHIP was through turning into the stretch. MOLIDA quit.
