ULTIEVILLE, steadied along in the early stages, responded when called upon turning into the stretch and, steered to the better footing, wore down GREENSKI in the final stages. The latter moved around BELLE SETH rounding the far turn, was strongly ridden when challenged in the final eighth, hut could not hold off the winner. ALMA NUGGET lacked early speed and finished gamelv. AUNT CADDIE finished gamely on the extreme outside. SIS BLAZE had no mishaps. MARKETEA "and MISS KATRINA were outrun. BELLE SETH quit. M.ADAM GRAY, racing in her best form, was under mild restraint for three-eighths, wj; lucky when the leaders swung wide turning into the stretch and. benefited by the saving of ground, withstood ACUTE in the final strides. The latter lacked early speed, saved ground and, under strong pressure, finished resolutely. HAMBURGER JIM, hustled from the start in setting the pace, bore out turning into the stretch and finished gamely when straightened out, but was disqualified from third money and placed last when his jockey grabbed the saddle cloth of DODGE ME approaching the final three sixteenths. DODGE ME, racing stiongly, was bothered bv HAMBURGER JIMS riders tactics, but held on gamelv to the end. PATTIE R. quit. SWEET SHOWNO was outrun. Scratched— 75960 Surveyor, 116. The latter, outrun for five eighths and working his way for- wardly turning into the stretch, finished gamely, but could not reach the winner. SMEAR made a game bid rounding the far turn, took a slight lead when straightened out, but tired in the final drive. MAGIC MOON forced the pace from the start, moved into command rounding the far turn, raced to the extreme outside turning into the stretch and was unable to reach the leaders when straightened out. GREAT SMOKE, under strong restraint in the early stages and torced to race wide to secure clear racing room in the final drive, just failed to get up. CROUT AU POT, outrun in the early stages and steered to the inside for the final drive, closed resolutely and might have been best in another few strides. HIGH FIDELITY had no mishaps. BOBBRAX tired in the final drive. BANK ME uqit. FYLFOT bore out badly rounding the far turn and finished on the extreme outside. BLACK MISCHIEF showed nothing. Scratched-75961 Gold Publicity, 111.
