LANCASTER, Ohio, June 24.— In addition to the regular card of seven events, the j Lancaster Racing Association will put on an , extra race for a purse of 00 on Thursday next, which will be somewhat of a novelty to racing patrons in this vicinity. It will be known as an elimination race, and the : winner will be sold at public auction to the k highest bidder immediately following the running of the race. , Whether the horse brings 0 or ,000, the 1 proceeds will go to the American Legion of i Lancaster, Ohio, to assist in worthy charit- 1 able causes and purchases of an iron lung to ; help in the national battle against infantile 1 paralysis.
