Middle Distance Racers Perform at Ak-Sar-Ben Cabbie Boy, Reddy Boy Among . Entrants in Ahepa Handicap . AK-SAR-BEN, Omaha, Nebr., June 29 Eight of the more formidable middle distance performers, quartered at the local "course were named for the ,500 Ahepa Handicap, one mile and one-sixteenth event fashioned for three-year-olds and upward, which will serve as the feature on Wednesdays program. Fourof the entrants have scored victories during the current session, while the remainder have been racing consistently well and must be regarded as dangerous should they choose to display their best efforts. Tony Damianos well-regarded Cabbie Boy was assigned the top impost of 118 pounds by racing secretary Raleigh Leigh for tomorrows feature. This son of Bel Aethel Vixen Lassie registered a well-earned victory in his latest effort, coming from far back of the early pace to down Fre-Oma Stables Sweet Girlie in the closing strides. Accorded the second highest weight is L. C. Blacks Reddy Boy, who is asked to shoulder 115 pounds. Reddy Boy gave a brilliant performance in the recently, decided George Brandeis Memorial Handicap, finishing fourth to Steploch, Remnoy and Ricks Raft after having practically been left at the post and trailing most of the journey. The dark horse of the Ahepa field could easily be J. D. Taylors Anaesthesia, who will carry 109. Anaesthesia has not scored a victory thus far during the meeting, but has been for-: wardly placed in each of her engagements, and must always be regarded as a prominent contender. Others slated to match strides in the Ahepa and their respective weights include E. E. Shoemakers Peach Cobbler, 109; Wayne and Melvin Stubbs Nebraska Cash and J. J. Arps May Co-Ed, both of whom will carry 108; Foxy No Mark, the other half of the Arp entry, 107, and W. D. Rorick and L. O. Lanes Sea Goddess, 106.
